Liza Starlight appeared at The River Front Theatre in Newport, South Wales on 27th October 2006 to a packed live audience and to the whole of Wales and the world (via the internet) in Mr Chris Needs MBE Radio show. The show went extremely well and Liza is looking forward to working again with Chris on future projects.
Liza Starlight was featured on local radio station GTFM Pontypridd (106.9 fm), her home radio station, on the afternoon of tuesday 7th November 2006 in quite an extensive interview and where they also played some of the music off the new album"The Voice Of Wales" . The interviewer Laz from GTFM has informed me that this interview will be repeated shortly and that Liza will now regularly be playlisted on their station. www.gtfm.co.uk
Liza was also recently interviewed live on Radio Glamorgan by their chief DJ Andrew Jones. For those of you who don't know where Radio Glamorgan broadcast, they are the hospital radio station for The University hospital of Wales. Andrew was amazed at Liza's quality vocal and her ability to sing so well live. He is also interested in further interviews with Liza and is planning further projects with her in mind. We will shortly have a link to a new website for Radio Glamorgan which Andrew is currently developing.
